Anne Hardin

Anne Hardin loves to paint. Having the life long desire to paint on canvas, but not listening to her inner voice, Anne began painting in 2002. With the support of her husband, children, friends and guidance from a respected local artist to paint every day, she painted her first mural in 2003 and had her first commission in 2005. She never paints the same twice, which intrigues her. Some people think in numbers, others in words. She thinks in color and texture. She hopes that everyone who sees her work finds something that makes them feel good or creates an emotional response. She paints for God from her heart and there is a little piece of her in every stroke. She thinks at some stage in your life you just have to follow your heart, stop trying to please everyone and live life. Everything else will then take it's rightful place. She has three children, two cats, one dog and her husband is her best friend to whom she owes so very much.  Anee painted “Dawn's Heart” in loving memory of William Hailey.
