Beth Irvin – Port Matilda, PA

Beth Irvin is a staff assistant in Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences Development Office and is working on her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree for photography. She grew up on a farm in central Pennsylvania not far from where her grandparents settled from Czechoslovakia.
    Beth’s photography captures the beauty of farmland and rural areas in Pennsylvania.  She is concerned about the future of the land and is using her photography to get involved with the Centre County Farmland Trust’s preservation program to bring about awareness of the need to save these precious areas.
