Dorothy Alexander Muccilli – Exton, PA

Dorothy Alexander Muccilli is a self-taught artist who paints in both watercolors and oils. She resides in Chester County, PA, where she is involved in several art groups. She exhibits in two shows annually, and she is represented in local galleries.
    Dottie enjoys introducing unexpected elements and depths into her pieces, such as metallic paints, rich backgrounds, and dramatic framing. She finds inspiration in ordinary objects; flowers, fruits and vegetables, and landscapes which are her favorite subjects. She regularly donates her artwork to charities and institutions, and she enjoys sharing her artistic talents with friends and family across the country.
    Prior to painting, Dottie expressed herself through other artistic mediums – needlepoint, cross-stitch, quilting, embroidery, stenciling, and sewing.
   Dottie's other interests include spending time with her family, reading, volunteer work, and traveling.
