Myra Ryan – Riverton, NJ A painter for more than thirty years, Myra makes her home in Riverton, NJ. Initially, she painted in oils and acrylics, but currently uses watercolors, other water media, pastels, and collage. Myra studied with Jean Uhl Spicer, AWS, NWS, and with award winning pastel artists Millie Glinieki, Nury Vicens, and Julie Friedman, PSA.
Myra has been juried into various shows throughout New Jersey, exhibited in a two-person exhibition in Cooperstown, NY and has had solo exhibits in Riverton, NJ, at the Palmyra Cove Education Center, and at the Twin Brook Winery in PA. She is a member of the Artists Circle, Mainline Art Center, Perkins Art Center, Willingboro Art Alliance and is on the board of directors of the Burlington County Art Guild. Her work can be found at the Home Art Gallery, Mount Holly, NJ.
Myra especially enjoys encouraging others to use art as a means of personal expression. When not painting, Myra can be found in her garden "painting with flowers." She recently retired from Cerebral Palsy of NJ where she served as Executive Director for fourteen years. |
