Lin Webber – Glenmoore, PA Lin Webber is a traditional watercolor painter working in a realistic style. Her paintings are bright with light and often have strong contrast. Included in her subject matter are country landscapes, coastal scenes, wooden boats, reflections in water and glass, interiors, and still lifes.
Juried shows have included Yellow Springs and Immaculata, both well-known in southeastern Pennsylvania. They have exhibited Lin's work for many years. She has created a series of prints for children, as well as illustrated three cookbooks.
Much of Lin's time is spent with two groups of women painters: Flying Colors Fine Artists which meets weekly in Glenmoore, PA and has an annual show at the Montgomery School; and The Artists Circle, which meets bi-monthly in Paoli and has an annual show at Malvern Prep. Both groups enjoy workshops, demonstrations, and lectures by local artists. Besides painting together, the artists attend local and national shows. Painting trips have been organized to Cape Cod, Maine, the British Isles, and the Continent.
Lin's studio, which she shares with her daughter and artist April D'Angelo, is in her home in Glenmoore. Visitors are welcome by appointment. |
